Winter Weekend Getaway in Bozeman, Montana

Each year for our anniversary, Jordan and I love to try to find a different cute mountain town where we can see some snow and mountains. It is a great change of scenery from hot, flat, Texas and we love having a few days of real winter! When we booked our trip to Bozeman, we had no idea what to expect! We had done Whitefish, Montana before, but I had gotten really sick and a lot of that trip was spent sitting in a hotel room.

We were so pleasantly surprised by Bozeman! Everyone was so kind and we spent lots of time just walking around and enjoying the snow and scenery. It is a small enough town that it doesn’t feel overwhelming, and we actually walked most everywhere we went. But, it also offered plenty to do and we definitely stayed busy (vacation busy!) for the few days we were there. Here are all the fun things we did, places we ate, and where we stayed in Bozeman, Montana!

Where to Stay:

-The Lark Bozeman - such a cute little hotel within walking distance to pretty much all of downtown Bozeman! There was even a coffee shop attached, which was awesome to pop into in the mornings. The barista even wrote a whole list for us of places to visit/explore on our trip. The staff was so kind, and we would totally stay here again!

Things to Do:

-Take a drive to Four Corners and check out Bozeman Hot Springs

-Hiking Up Peets Hill/Burke Park

-Walking/Shopping/Coffee Shop Hopping along Main Street

-See a show at Last Best Comedy

-Pop over to Gallatin Gateway and see the beautiful river!

-Grab a snack or drink at one of the hotel rooftop bars - Kimpton Sky Shed or AC Hotel Bozeman

Places to Eat:

-Blackbird

-Bozeman Tap Room

-Copper Whiskey Bar and Grill

-Revelry (one of our favs, we ate here multiple times!)

-Treeline Coffee Roasters (located basically at the Lark, where we stayed!)

-Jam! Brunch

-Western Cafe (feels a bit like stepping back in time, in a good way!)

-Backcountry Burger Bar

-MAP Brewing Company
